This popular Yorkshire Television series made
famous by Nick Berry who played the role ofP.C.
Nick Rowan, is filmed on location in the village of Goathland which is now
better known as Aidensfield.
The
North Yorks Moors Railway steam engines are those used in the series.
They
operate on a regular service from Grosmont through Goathland
all the way to
Pickering.
Coach Excursions to various locations run from the
camp commencing Spring Bank Holiday until the end of September and a regular bus
service operates to Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington.
